The Standard keeps promising to be a good neighbor and then they want to expand their hours, the number and the size of their restaurants. They are at the end of a residential street, across the street from a senior citizen's care facility. ENough is enough, they shouldn't be allowed to expand beyond the current size!!!!!

i have been battling with a neigbour above me, a NYU brat, over late night consistent noise for a few years as have others on the affected block with this Hotel and also a flood of spoiled, pampered NYU students/hangers on. The influx of people who do NOT care in the least about our quality of life, especially after midnight, has reached astronomical proportions in our once quiet East Village. Its time to take a decided stand here with this petition and in general against the flock of NYU and other molesters ruining our night peace and denying sleep at all. For all of these reasons please support this effort !
