This seems to be a typical government shady undertaking only to be paid for by the people who can't afford it and who do not need or want it. We have one of the highest tax rates as it is and a building next to a highway is not going to make our township desirable to live in.

This is horrible !!! How are people suppose to afford this? I know as a disabled person I have to live within my means.............why can't the townships and government do the same? We can not afford this at all !!!

I'd be willing to take a deep dive into the Police needs but please, this complex is unnecessary. I'd love to build a huge house for all to enjoy, will you pay for it? Of course not. Like many others signing here, I don't have any more (tax) money to give. Since the commissioners represents US, but don't seem to be doing that in this case, put it to a vote, we'll be glad to share our heartfelt thoughts in the booth.

I vote NO given the scope of the project as it is. I could consider it with many modifications and lower costs as I see the need to move the police station and upgrade admin offices.

After being made aware of this project, I sought to understand the situation and attend two open meetings. I was apparent to me that there seems to be an agenda that we, the public, are unaware of. I sought to try understand why our townships leaders continue to move forward despite overwhelming opposition and concern. The lack of transparency in local government and the inability for the local public to easily impact change to public policy is not part of the foundations this country was built on. For this reason, I feel I must, at this time, sign this petition and oppose moving forward with such an expensive endeavor. I strongly suggest our commissioners allow a public referendum so we, the public, can vote. If they are truly representing their constituent's, they have nothing to worry about as the vote will support or refute the belief for this project.

This proposal is Absolutely fiscally irresponsible to build something of this financial magnitude without grants to help offset the cost. To put it all on our backs as tax payers is awful! My family and I were considering selling our home and moving elsewhere but hoping to stay within the district because we love Suburban but if this goes through we will leave the district for sure! Absolutely absurd!
