A project of this magnitude needs to be fully presented with all of its parts separately evaluated and broken out by cost. Its hard to understand why our township needs a project of this scope now, particularly as the costs of education will likely require more funding and there are significant liabilities to the public pension plans that will require funding.

The projected increase in millage will definitely affect home prices adversely to the detriment of your taxpayers. The schools in our township have extensive facilities that should be shared rather than building a new recreational complex.

This has got to be the most stupid idea yet! There are a lot of us that will be on fixed incomes in the next 5 years We can't afford the taxes now! Do we just pick up and leave?

I oppose any increase to my taxes. We already have multiple recreational facilities. Another one is poor use of taxpayer dollars.

PAYING NOW OVER $15,000, RETIRED OVER 13 YEARS, MARRIED 51 YEARS, 40 YEARS HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER, SMALL BUSINESS OWNER AND NOW WIFE HAD MASSIVE STROKE, PAYING OUT OVER $1700 A WEEK FOR CARE GIVERS PLUS OTHER BILLS. PUT TWO KIDS THROUGH COLLEGE WORKED TWO FULL TIME JOBS AND PAID OFF OUR HOUSE. HARDLY MAKING IT NOW TAKING CARE OF WIFE 24/7. NOBODY GIVES A DAMN ABOUT WHAT SENIORS ARE GOING THROUGH AND WHO CARES IF THEY LOSE THEIR DREAM HOUSE THAT WE HAD BUILT IN CASE SOMETHING WOULD HAPPEN TO ONE OF US BEING BOTH DIABETICS. I GUESS I SHOULD SHOOT MYSELF AND GET IT OVER WITH.

While it may be necessary to upgrade some of the facilities, it can certainly be done for far less cost; the township commissioners should be looking for ways to decrease taxes rather than planning a project such as this which will result in a burdensome tax increase

I don't disagree that our current township facilities need to be improved. I appreciate our township workers who deal with inferior work space each day. This project is overdue. For those of you who disagree, just take a quick tour of our police department at Tri-Hill. That said, if you spend less than half of what you have proposed, you'd still be much better than where we are today. I agree with the many comments that are calling for a more economical solution. Spend like it was your money...
