I am all in favor of assuring our police department has an adequate facility to support their essential service to the township. The proposed structure goes far beyond what is needed for essential services in a well-functioning township that has more than adequate recreational facilities within its borders and in adjacent townships. This structure will not enhance the efficiency of administrative services. The tax burden for many of those on fixed incomes will force relocations and make this a less desirable community, resulting in a deterioration of the community.

I am retired and living on a FIXED income. I have lived here for 34 years. If my taxes increase to pay for this project, I will be forced to move from the only home I've ever owned! With the uncertainty of the economy as it is, I don't look at this $14-$18 million project as a wise decision for those of us living on fixed incomes!!!!!!

Thank you for keeping the residents so informed about the proposed complex. There has got to be a better less expensive alternative. The residents will have the burden & stress put on them for this project. Us little people are struggling & amazingly we pay our taxes. For our taxes to increase that much completely ridiculous. Not fair to alot of us. How about the twp go after the people that haven't paid taxes for years & get their money first. Example from an article in the paper:The Pharma Restaurant guy on Grantley. Hasn't paid in 3 yrs to the tune of over $68,000.00!! How many more are like that. If the twp commissioners think their way is feasible (which any intelligent human would disagree) let them pay for it out of their wallets. Thank you again & please keep us informed!

First, before they build this thing, someone should explain why, in times of 2% inflation, my taxes went from $1800 in 2015 to $2100 in 2016 to $2444 in 2017!! Absurd. To pay for the pensions of overpaid and underworked employees?

Unacceptable, unnecessary, and excessive expense. There has to be a less expensive solution that resolves the current needs. In my opinion, the proposed site could be used for retail establishments that would generate tax revenue. Don't be known as the commissioners that doubled the municipal tax on its residents for bigger Government.
