Totally unnecessary. Waste of money. I do not want my taxes to go any higher than they already are.

It's too much of a financial strain on us to have the taxes increased.

We already pay a high amount of taxes and shouldn't have to pay an increase which will be a financial hardship.

There are too many families living pay check to pay check, us included. And we shouldn't have to worry about losing our homes due to the taxes being so high and increasing our mortgage payment.

Why weren't the residents even notified of this?? This is a huge financial burden. Why aren't there more than one proposal? 20 million dollars over 30 years and you don't notify the people that will be responsible to pay for it?!? Clearly, there needs to be some alternative options brought to the table to properly accommodate our police officers and administrative offices. Is there really a need for a recreational center?

I do not approve of this. I live on a fixed income. I am 81 and l barely pay my bills now. I can not afford anymore increases.

NO! There is no reason for and expensive shiny complex. Especially at the expense of the residents who will be paying for it and never have a use for it. Think of our older retired and elderly residents and the single people raising children on one income who are already struggling to make ends meet. Some unable to properly feed themselves or afford their medications or health Insurance. Renovate, Add On and utilize the existing properties. They can all be made just as beautiful as a big new building. Take a good factual look at what has and is happening with our State Government with our Governor and the Senate regarding the Unemployment System Funding, before anything this big and at the expense of others. WE all should be seeing and the Commissioners producing and Audit showing the residents, the people you want to charge. Exactly where previous tax dollars were spent and exactly what every future penny will be spent on. You want us to pay for some extravagant complex and you want to tell us while you were preparing our tax bills, and it is WELL UNDERWAY by the Commissioners whom apparently have already selected contractors, got estimates and now want us the residents of Spring Garden Township to pay for. You need to do your homework and the math. I want to know who came up with this idea, than who jumped on the band wagon. This was all decided like most of these situations by those of you who hold these position's with total disregard of the effects your behind closed door talks have on everyone else's lives. 21 Million Dollars! AND this cost does not include ongoing operating costs. Are you serious, crazy? Explain what happens after 5 years of tax increases, when you are talking about a 30 year bond?????????? If your taking a 30 year Bond than why are we supposedly only going to see our taxes being raised only over the next 5 years? Does this mean, your complex is going to be paid off in 5 years and than you have us paying double what we

Additional police room could be had by moving the recreation section to another location or adding to the TriHill building. The proposed park is not needed as local parks are much more Accessible and large facilities already exist in neighboring townships. Asseeast: 166 Highland Road, York 17403

There is no need to spend this amount of money. There are enough recreational area close by. Lake redman, rail trail and many local parks.

I agree with bringing administration and personnel into a common facility, but does each township really need its own athletic complex when we have school complexes unoccupied during summers? Can't we support facilities that already exist?
