The spread of GMOs is becoming a major problem. Often, we as people don’t try to fix something until a major tragedy happens. Then we focus on solving the problem. Why can’t we come together to fix a problem before it causes severe suffering? GMOs should be labeled on food for safety. The longterm effect of GMOs on humans has never been tested. But yet, people have been eating GMOs for awhile now. What will happen? We know that mice that have had GMO food have severely suffered and had birth defects, when will that starting to the people that have been eating GMOs for awhile? GMOs don’t exist in nature, and the possibilities of what GMOs could do to people is terrifying. Many people would not care, food is food, but what about the people that do care what they are eating? Can’t they be allowed to know what they are eating before they eat it? Therefore, GMO labels should be required for the safety of everyone and the people that do not want to poison their systems with GMOs.
