For years fans of the popular horror franchise of Silent Hill have been tolerating the behavior of those in the community who loathe the games made outside of Japan or outside of the original KCET team. This behavior has led to wasted causes such as petitions calling for Konami to get rid of the Korn song in Downpour, bring core members back, or to get Yamaoka to do music for an upcoming game. The behavior has led to not only countless hours being wasted on causes that are not worth the time or cause the community to schism in a way that doesn't make sense.

It is time to make the community worth it by calling for a halt on these causes, petitions, boycotts, and demands that not everyone agrees. Stop the hate. Stop the ad hominem attacks on people, including people who worked on the games before. Stop the ignorance. Together we can make a difference to clean up the community!
