Finally we get a proper look at the upcoming Metal Gear Rising. Development of the game has been handed to Platinum Games (Vanquish, Bayonetta) and blessed with the subtitle "Revengance". As such the trailer makes it look SUPER AWESOME - just look: My God, it's like sheer brilliance distilled into a 3 minute trailer. Imagine what the full game will be like - actual fun (unlike every other Metal Gear Solid game then). So imagine my surprise when I see another petition to have Metal Gear Rising: Revengance cancelled. CANCELLED? No sir, I say we remove Hideo Kojima's influence entirely. NO to 1 hour long cut-scenes. NO to awkwardly shoe horned moral lectures. NO to Solid frickin' Snake and his brother Liquid. YES TO PLATINUM GAMES!
