Protect the island. Ruin it not but sustain. The real treasure is the island not monetary bills coming from tourists' pockets. It will be a great pride for the island if it will be able to control number of visitors coming in.

There are far more better projects that need to be adressed than having the island's airport expanded. Yes! It could boom the island's economy but i believe it could also ruin the beauty of this unbelievable paradise i call home. Preserve the island, Don't ruin the paradise.

It’s not important to have a beutiful airport in siargao ., there are many ways to visit siargao (ex. Thru land). The money must Put in more important needs like hospital, because in island there’s no hospital were people really need it when they got sick. The only hospital ni siargao is at dapa where people travel about 13.9 km. I suggest that Put the money in the right thing that all person can benifit it.

Siargao is not ready for an international airport and the mass tourism that comes with it!
Build hospitals, fix the waste/sewage management, and provide lights to the island first at the very least. There are many other things, for the good of the island and its locals and even for every tourist, that MUST be prioritized over an international airport if the government does not want to see yet another paradise destroyed. Do the right thing please! Think sustainability and preservation before greed!
