My parents live in Siargao therefore I go often. In the last few months, the crowd in Siargao has changed, and therefore the needs have changed as well. It is absolutely crucial for the government to prioritize health and the environment before bringing more people in. There is so little in this world left to protect and by building this airport before prioritizing the basic needs would be going in the opposite direction. Having grown up in Boracay, I know first hand what the impact is, and we should all do our best to help maintain Siargao's integrity.

I love Siargao, and they should leave it alone! An international airport will only cause the ruin of that paradise.

Siargao Airport is enough. Tourist can travel from any other places in the Philippines to Siargao Island.

Ive been to Siargao and I fell in love with this magical place. I keep saying to myself Ill go back to this place, but when I do, I still wanna see its purity and tranquility. I know change is inevitable but all hopes are high. And I hope this change is just for the better.

I am not a local of siargao but the first time i went to the island i felt inlove with it. I saw the love of locals to their beloved island. This gem should be preserved. Capitalism should not promote tourism only but also the needs of the people living the island.

Spread the word! Government should focus more on Siargao’s power supply, healthcare, and education! Implement that expansion after taking care of the most important issues or problems, that’ll just add up with the people’s taxes!

i dont want lost my island .lets save our island and culture specially the beautiful smile and hospitality of siargao people before it will get ruin by selfish businessman, investors ,flenty of tourist who only think about themselves ,we are not a product of there personal interest .we live in harmony just respect our island❤️ #SaveMotherNature
