We don’t have the infrastructure ready for this. A proper system of renting bikes for example, where visitors know to use helmets. A system that protects the underage girls from entering into prostitution because of poverty. A system that protects women visitors from rape and being a victim of sexual crimes. Our current system provides no justice for victims.

We don't need it! "Small is Beautiful, read it(Schumacher). SI is protected area and don't need an international airport, more tourists as long as there is no "green, sustainable vision" for this fantastic place!

Systematic conservation planning is CRUCIAL. Demand to know what the local government's COMPREHENSIVE CONSERVATION PLAN is prior to building an IA, and locals must insist on accessibility and integration.

There are many things that Siargao needs, an international airport, more tourists or a f**king bridge are definitely not on that list. Sort out the hospital, waste management and the myriad of other necessities - stop the politicians lining their pockets with vanity projects.

I believe it is not necessary to build an international airport in Siargao. Tourists are doing ok coming in and out of the island as it is. We need to preserve this paradise and one way to do that is keep the current means to be in the island. Taking the easy route is never the solution. Sometimes we need to go through the long route to be able to feel that it's worth it. The government instead should focus on building a decent hospital in General Luna or just improvise the airport and it's runway.

Nobody wants this especially the locals and the surfers who love this place. Pls understand their plea and prioritize other things first like healthcare and WASTE MANAGEMENT above all. Lets protect & preserve the island instead of making it a circus of sorts--overpopulated and polluted. Please. Thank you
