This petition was made to prevent the "business like" dress code. When someone asks deal why they have a dress code, they respond with to prepare the kids for when they have jobs and have to dress professional. We are kids, not adults. How are sweat pants professional. How are leggings less professional than sweat pants? They want to make the dress code sound less sexist that way but how many boys would wear leggings to school?

Until attending deal, I didn't know features like my knee or shoulder could appear "distracting"for boys. Why should girls be limited to what they wear because of what others think?

The dress code forces everyone to wear shorts, skirts, and dresses that are below the students middle finger. What boy wears shorts above his middle finger? It's not like not like boys wear short shorts.
This also violated the Civil Rights Act.
