As a resident of Glendale, born and raised, its highly important to support my city from further luxury complexes being built. As the population of resident increases, traffic and parking issues will continue to arise. I support my city and GUSD 100%

This city is getting out of hand with projects buildings with no second thoughts of cleanliness. Just walk around our streets and you smell sewer, trash everywhere and graffiti. If the city has the mind to approve these buildings but not the mind to hire personal to keep in clean and safe, how can we trust you to run our city and approve projects for the Carmels of the world?
Better change the personal at city hall next voting comes along. Time to clean up house.

City of Glendale council and DRB need to follow the rules, zoning restrictions, treat all equally. This love affair with developers needs to stop NOW.

Projects of this scale do not belong outside of the Downtown Specific Plan area. We urge City Council to protect our neighborhoods from DSP creeping into residential areas that will suffer. This is yet another profit driven development that is bad for Glendale.

I sign and agree with everything stated in this petition. I also want to add - to apprise GUSD and the City of Glendale - that: 1) GUSD failed in properly informing the public about its shameful profit-driven Project; 2) failef to provide people with a meaningful opportunity to comment on the Project; 3) swept all public comments - raised at numerous public meetings and via email and petitions - re all the adverse environmental impacts of its Project under the rug; 4) used inappropriate categorical exemption to declare Its Project exempt and conducted no meaningful analysis or considerations of environmental impacts before making its decision on the Project; 5) engaged in piecemealing - prohibited by CEQA - and continuously added more and more lots to the Project thereby significantly changing the Project without subsequent analysis or consideration of environnental impacts; 6) disregarded the new unusual circumstances of the Moratorium in Glendale in view of exceeding density and associated health and safety concerns in and near Downtown, next to GUSD's site; 7) disregarded the unusual circumstances of its Project adverse impacts on the nearby two historically designated resources - YMCA and Post Office, both of which suffer from inadequate parking and rely in part on GUSD's parking lot and adjacent streets for parking; 8) despite community's constant emphasis, disregarded the inadequate parking for the High School upon implementation of its Project which would leave the 250 student/staff school with only 12 parking spaces and thereby would burden tge neighboring community and school students/staff with hunting for parking and having to park far away from the school or residences; 9) continuously misrepresented the Projects's terms, size, and objectives to the public while inducing the support from unwitting parents and public to obtain entitlements and permits for the Developer; 10) breached its fiduciary duty to the taxpayers and breached the public trust; 11) e

The outside developers are counting on your passivity for their own success. Do nothing and they win! So first things first, Sign and Share this petition on Facebook if you care about the quality of life in the beautiful city of Glendale.
The following is what they say on their website. "With experience in all aspects of multifamily real estate, we create homes and improve communities. Our development and renovation projects are thoughtfully designed and expertly crafted. Our entrepreneurial mindset is reflected in the bold moves and forward-thinking investments that have become our calling card."
It is evident that the one and only concern is generating a profit for their investors, not the cheap byline they project to the public.
Signing this petition to let outside developers know that Glendale is NOT FOR SALE. If your local officials are not hearing you, it might be time to vote them out of office.

Please do not approve such a large development in this quiet neighborhood. The outrageous rents that these new monstrosities that have been recently built has stretched the average person's rent to be unmanageable. There are many wonderful citizens in Glendale who have lived here for many years, myself included. We do not wish to be forced to live elsewhere as Glendale is our beloved home.
