This petition will certainly help stop the project; everyone's presence at the city's hearings will be crucial as well.
Our voices matter - at least, they should matter if we gave true democracy.
Our City and the Glendale Unified School District will soon learn to respect the public opinion before making choices that affect the people.

As it is these new buildings don't have tenants because the rents are too high. Who's making the money off all this development? The city is almost uninhabitable as it is.

The City of Glendale has not been acting in the best interests of the people who live here.
So whose interests are they looking out for?
It is time to take a close-up look at the key players.

Don’t marginalize essential City services by locating them in leased and/or distant locations. Schools management must remain easily accessible. Do not sell this property!

STOP TURNING GLENDALE INTO A GENERIC BLAND CITY. LITTLE BY LITTLE YOU GUYS ARE TAKING AWAY THE CHARM AND CHARACTER FROM THIS TOWN, AND DRIVING THE FAMILIES THAT HAVE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR YEARS, OUT OF THIS TOWN. NO TO CONSTRUCTION!

The overbuilding in Glendale is out of control. It's making Glendale an unsafe place to live, and it's creating air quality and congestion issues. We do NOT need more expensive housing. This is not going to improve the housing issues. Stop the chaos!

Please stop negatively impacting the children. There is demolition and building happening on Wilson and Louise already. None of the construction that has happened we in Glendale over the past 4 years is benefiting the children of City Center.

Stop the over development of the ridiculous oversized apartment complexes in Glendale. The site of the GUSD headquarters as a proposed complex will be detrimental to all neighbors not to mention Daily High and surrounding daycares.
