Universal greed alive, well and galling to all but those who stand to benefit. Stop it here and now, for the generations to come. Please.

Thank you, Topete. Please email me at: [email protected] The Project is actually up for our written comments by November 9, 2018. The Project is scheduled to go before Council on November 20, 2018 - Thanksgiving week! That is how things are done in Glendale! Community has not been mailed notices for comments and will be hit by surprise when the hearing date is announced.

No to traffic! No to higher density! No to Ron Zeff and Carmel “partners”! Carmel “partners”, is really a billionaire’s business run by Ronald D. Zeff (Ron Zeff), who “ is responsible for all aspects of Carmel Partners acquisitions, development, property management and capital formation” according to Bloomberg. Ron Zeff lives in a multimillion home in San Francisco. Ron Zeff is an outsider, who does not have Glendale’s best interests at heart and does not care for this community. His company is always looking for opportunities, opportunities to make even more money. But, just how much more money is enough? That is another question. The community was not paying attention before when Ron Zeff built Altana, Carmel’s monstrosity of an apartment building. Altana has in fact attracted more crime to the area. Read the reviews in Yelp and you will see that there are stories after stories of vandalism, theft and the like. There are pictures of damages. Altana has very poor ratings and terrible management it seems. Altana was built and no one opposed this miscreation in Glendale at that time. To put things into perspective of how bad thing are when edifices such as Ron Zeff’s Altana are erected, we need to make a comparison. The median size of a new home built in 2016 was 2,422 square feet. Altana has a total of 438,461 square feet and is a “507 unit development”. That is the equivalent of 181 homes! Glendale does not need this kind of density, does not need more traffic and does not need higher crime rates that go along when construction of similar projects are pitched to elected officials and then forced upon the long term residents of Glendale, who do have a real vested interest in our community. Please share this petition on Facebook and tell your neighbors that the quality of life we have come to love in Glendale, is under attack.

Stop breaking the laws with lies and deceit for the sake of lining criminals' pockets. It destroys the quality of life of others.

Irresponsible development in Glendale is out of control. A park should be considered for that location.

This is ridiculous we don’t need another mega apartment structure in Glendale. Work on all the issues like parking, traffic and trash everywhere.

We live a block away. Traffic and especially Parking is already difficult. The people profiting from this don't have to live next to it. Disapprove this project.
