My issue is not the look of the project or the addition of housing around downtown Glendale - my objection is the shockingly inadequate parking provisions for a school that currently has a parking lot, and the idiotic solution of putting the school population in a shopping center parking facility. We know this can be rescinded at any time by the shopping centers, and we're stuck with no place for a lot more people in the housing and the schools to park. There needs to be a garage built if the developers can't figure out room for an adequate parking lot. This is a case of developers going cheap on facilities, taking a profit and leaving Glendale to deal with the congestion and its negative effects on quality of life. City planning efforts here are poor to none, all they did is hire an architect to create a simple apartment complex.

I am disgusted with the over development of massive apartment structures in Glendale. It has impacted our city in a very negative way.Glendale need no more housing. Developers have ruined what was once a beautiful town .

This is a horrible project which will ruin the whole community/neighborhood. It will make the life of the whole community/neighborhood a real nightmare. It's absolutely illegal in many aspects. I support every word of this petition!

Better build a school or green space for the area. Glendale is very crowded already.

I object to the sale of GUSD's 3 acre public property at/near 223 N. Jackson Street to the private Developer Carmel Partners which has aggressive development plans for the property.

We HAVE to learn from past mistakes. Glendale is too densely over-developed and has been for decades; let's stop NOW.

Jackson cannot support such a development and the violations of the code are impermissible. Keep public land public and make developers pay market price for privately owned lands.
