Me and my sister both went to this school and I had some of the best childhood memories. This also was the school where i had my all time favorite teacher, Mr. Queen. Please reconsider.

The sale of this property would further drop Covina into poverty as it is already located to a run down apartment complex across the street. Keep the history where it is and sell off windgate park. Windgate is already a spot where drug deals and other criminal activity takes place and would not be missed.

I live across the street & cannot even get out of my driveway sometimes. This will only make the traffic worse! Also, I understand that they are proposing using the north west corner for business. Covina already has enough vacant stores & we do not need more. Just look at the vacancies on Grand Ave...The old market by Grand & Edna, Drug Store Emporium, the clothing stores, all of the empty store fronts downtown Covina, the old Smiths (Albertsons) & the empty stores by the AMC etc etc etc. We do not need more zoned area for business. We need to keep our beautiful city more residential & open area.

This is just insane to me. I personally went to royal oak middle school and promoted and to see that they want to sell it to create more housing is astonishing to me. I hope this is stopped because where else would the kids go to school and community sportings ?

I live in Chino Hills but grew up in Covina and San Dimas so I’m familiar with the area of Royal Oaks. If the land is to be sold there should at least be studies done on the impact to the area. Here in Chino Hills we have had a lot of development recently that has greatly impacted traffic and quality of life in the city. It’s not fair to residents to make major changes without studies and their input.

I grew up on these fields. They were a part of my childhood and deserve to be a part of those in generations to come.

I grew up playing soccer there, literally before most of the businesses were built next door. I met friends there who I still hang out with to this day. You would be taking away a massive field to play all types of sports on. The district doesnt need an overhaul like that. I strongly recommend you reconsidering demolishing the Royal Oak grass region.
