Moved to Covina over 15 years ago, grew up in this community. Please do not build more low-income housing. Focus on the community that has always kept it safe and give the neighboring shopping centers a facelift instead.

Our community is already short on green belt areas that are used for many activities that benefit us all. Adding more housing, low income or not will have numerous negative impacts.

Royal oak and it’s full entitity have been around for many years from start as a Hugh school to the switch to intermediate school to now a middle school. We are limited as is but why would we take more away from students such as land and field ? Not only do the staff and students use all of the properties but families and adults and sports all get much usage from the fields. If you want to take away something then take away the High ass priced homes to take its place. How stupid can a city be...

There are many detriments to selling green space and having it turn into dense or worse, low income housing. We have a growing homeless issue which brings crime, and it is not a far stretch to believe this would be the result of future development on that sites.
