Zendaya is just a bad pick. I'm a fan but Keke Palmer is needed! Then again her parents nor sibiling is involved, so really this film is not to honor Aaliyah it's for the money!

A movie should be made with input from the ones who were the closest to her.

Please respect the wishes of Aaliyah's beloved family, friends and fans. Please have respect for our wishes and allow our Baby girl to continue to rest in peace. This project is unnecessary and unwanted. We love you Aaliyah. Rest in peace our angel.

The Lifetime biopic about Aaliyah is disrepectful to Aaliyah's family and friends, most importantly, Aaliyah's legacy, and, lastly, her fans. Lifetime cannot properly reproduce the impact Aaliyah made in Pop culture and her true fans. Aaliyah was more than a woman.

I don't agree with the rumours the production anythingto do with this film. Aaliyah's family and close friends alll have been shown that they have no say for there fallen daughter, sister and friend. As her fan I support this petition to the fullest extent. This needs to be shut down.

Hi everyone! please sign this petition. What they are doing is wrong and disrespectful. If the family are against this, so am I.

I would love to see an Aaliyah biopic, but not like this. I've always respected Lifetime Network for their great work, but the way they are going about this is unethical. They will lose a lot of vuewers off this. Zendaya, take note. You may think this will be a career booster, but under these circumstances, you're sure to fail. Have some respect fir the woman you "idolize". I don't think she'd want someone to idolize her against her family's wishes. An Aaliyah Biopic should be in theaters, not television.

This is wrong & disrespectful. And to cast a "Non Black Female" in this role.....? Of course, there are no "Talented, Beautiful Black Females in the entertainment business" that would be able to represent "Aaliyah". Another Slap in the Black Female Face!
