If this movie is going to be done, it should be done right. It should be like Selena, not a lifetime movie. I mean no offense, but lifetime movies are not taken seriously. I would hate for Aaliyah's story to not be told the right way without family's permission.

Um Helloooo Aaliyah is a BLACK WOMAN! She was not Biracial. I like Zendaya but she looks absolutely NOTHING like Aaliyah. Hollywood is a sad sad place.

Let the movie not upset the family of baby girl. At least let them have something to do with it. Aaliyah was apart of their everyday life, that is nothing to play around with.

Nothing against #ZendayaColeman or her ability to portray #Aaliyah but.. she's has no likeness to Aaliyah. And even more heartbreaking, is the matter that the Hauhgton family - as well as her close friends ( Missy and Timbaland at least ) have been given 0 say on the product.

Aaliyah....was a great..daughter..sister..friend..singer...actress..etc..She was and still is very highly respected and I really do feel she is still near and dear to our hearts...so if her family is not behind this biopic.100%.neither should we....hands down...respect Aaliyah...her family ... friends...as well as all of her true fans...♡♥♡♥♡♥
