How do you create a movie without someone's MOTHER! Lord know Aaliyah and Rashad have always been close, as well. This movie is going to be based on a whole bunch of media mess. This movie is being carelessly produced and if Diana doesn't support this, neither do I!!!

I grew up listening to Aaliyah with my older cousins, Have always loved her. I would love an Aaliyah movie but if it's not approved by her family no movie should be made.

I'm not sure if this is disrespectful only because people really want to know more about Aaliyahs life and I support that BUT they way this is being handled is all wrong. They need to talk to the family. As for Zendaya. They need to cast someone more suited for this role. I heard aaliyah was a bit shy, very tiny, and beautiful, cast someone who fits her. I don't think she (Zendaya) is a good fit. What they should do is hold an audition and see people in person... lets slow down. A movie can always be made this is just the wrong time...
