They can't even make the movie perfect without her family, they know her better than anyone. Aaliyah deserves the most respect as she has no say here today. Her family, friends and fans were her everything and this movie doesn't involve any of them. And Zendaya apparently being a huge fan of her should know this and not even go through with the movie. Really upsetting. RIP Aaliyah, hope this petition works.

family should always be involved. Think people ( producer's, casting and anyone else involved) this film will affect the lives of the family be it negative or positive they should have a say. Especially mom. What if this was your child, wouldn't you want a say in the matter. I'm just saying.

It just does not feel right... Keshia Chante was chosen 4 another Aaliyah movie, but Aaliyahs familly was not ready . I just think if they ever make a movie it should be with her family &friends input. I am just not feeling it,also with who was cast to play Aaliyah.
