her family should get the respect they desire and it should have been discussed with the family from the beginning. she did live a life worth showing but it should be when her family makes that decision.

this should have never happened in the first place ,no it's not about money it's about homage, and if your not gonna do it right then don't ! I was Pissed it wasn't going to the big screen like biggies did,let alone cast a girl that can pass for Hispanic! do her justice! and do it right recast did another studio to do the movie and pay respects correctly.

Is it really about a move coming out about her, or is it a money issue.... lifetime is known for making wonderful movies about people's lives I don't think it would be a bad idea. I am a big AALIYAH fan always have been and always will be.... and this movie would just be saying her legacy has never been forgotten. JUST BEING HONEST!!! I would love to see this movie because I love AALIYAH!!!

This si beyond disrespectful. To not include the influence of Aaliyah closest family members reveals the true motivation for this movie. Which in my opinion is purely monetary and greed combined.

If the Haughtons dont approve how are they even going to get her life info!! If they dont want the movie then there shouldnt be a movie its probably just going to end up a big mess especially the fact that they cast a disney channel star to Aaliyah's role is just a shame.
