Nothing against the girl...but you cant just go ahead with a movie about someone without the families consent.The family should have a say so because they spent there whole life loving that family member.It's just a shame that people will try and do things to benefit themselves.Aaliyah was a great person.Respect her legacy and let her family decide when and how to portray her life...PLEASE!

Before anything is done, the family should be consulted. & if they do not agree then their should be respected. The only people who can give insight into her Aaliyah's is the people who were closest to her. if you don't have that "Lifetime" then don't bother. i hope you reject the role after you see this petition.No role is worth disrespecting the loss of a family.

I am a huge fan of Aaliyah. I support her family and fans in signing this petition.I also don't think the young lady that was chosen to portray her is a good fit.
