For the sake of the family of Aaliyah's banned the movie and let Aaliyah be at peace. No one wants to see her life being re-lived , it's already sad enough that we lost a beautiful star . Let her be at PEACE .

hell no. i love Aaliyah dearly and even have one pf her tattoos tatted on me plus her portrait but out of respect from her family they need to not make this lil film. besides Aaliyah deserve a movie on screen, not on tv. and Zendaya is good but nooooo. leave Aaliyah alone.!

this has gone way to far! I hate the fact that their going against her family and friends and not even letting them have a say in this it breaks my heart that they just cant leave aaliyah's death alone I understand we all miss her and her legacy will live on FOREVER but its time we understand she's gone..... we shouldnt make a movie for her because we miss her ..we can keep her alive in our hearts by her music

The network should have contacted the family first out if respect. Aaliyah was a super star and I'm sure her family wouldn't have mind if they were involved in the production. She was definitely one in a million !!!

I don't think they should stop making the movie because true fans want to see the story of her life and how she came to fame but I do think it was wrong of the network to go start shooting without the family's consent ... I think the family should embrace the fact that everyone has been for something like this for a long time and it's well over do, I know personally she deserves to have her story told and I've been waiting a long time for this and I would love to watch this!
