Yeah I'm against the whole Aaliyah movie, but I will still watch cause Its Aaliyah and she was something special to the music industry. Even though Zendaya is playing her which I'm kinda against cause no one can ever be like or come to Aaliyah. I'll still watch it but not because I'm going with it. Just to see how good Zendaya can pull off such a big role for a huge artist.

I'm so against this being made. How can you tell Aaliyah's life story and not include her mother and brother. I think this is wrong on all levels. I remember when she first came out and I still love her to this day. I hope the family completely shuts this down and this director Twinkie whoever needs to be ashamed. Shut it down

I agree i think it is best for them to respect Aaliyah and her family to NOT do the flim. Plus, I believe Zendaya should not play the role because she is too young and not mature enough for the flim

For one it does matter because her family should be board in a project like this . I feel it's respectful to do that first and for the family to be there to direct her life the way it was but if they are against it and feel they are not ready to tell her story then we have to respect that and eventually they will be ready and when they are they can can control the casting and how things should go.
