Zendaya Coleman is a horrid actress. It is disrespectful to the late Aaliyah for Zendaya to play such a phenomenal role. If the movie is going to continue on they should really have a more becoming actress play her, rather than a Disney channel wanna be. She's only 17 anyway and she should stick to dancing and a acne commercials.

I've been an Aaliyah fan since I was young girl, and I'm 24. And I disapprove of this biopic. Only the ones close to Aaliyah should have the say so whether this biopic is made.

They family expressed before they werent ready for something like this. How hard is it to repsect those wishes. Honestly fans wont favor it either they/we tend to get a bitter taste in our mouth when anyone is even compared to her. Now to have someone else play her. Just let her rest and honor her families wishes. Rest In Paradise Aaliyah.

her family should of had rights for this movie to go or not,total ignorance comes here for her family,they should have the first and last say since they are her family,,this is not about money its about family and this is very hard for family to watch her life and say if this is ok to say or not,,or how would Aaliyah would say this or her moves ....Love you still Aaliyah and wanna do the right thing out of respect for You Beautiful Angel and Family,,say No to this movie to all Earth Angels,,God bless yaz!

A marketing gimmick to make a refund disguised as a movie! Aaliyah deserves a motion picture, considering she was an actress with two box- office blockbuster films to her credit! Only if her mom approves, if she doesn't approve then don't do it. They just announced that this young lady will star as Aaliyah less than 48 hours ago and they are going to start shooting in 2 weeks (July)? That young woman needs time to prepare physically, vocally, etc.

I feel that her family should have a say in this whole thing. Plus the young girl you have playing her was only 5 years old when Aaliyah passed away. You guys should at least get some one who looks like Aaliyah play her on the movie. At least give Lolita Price a chance; she looks and dances like her.

I feel it's beyond messed up to make a movie of someone's deceased child and not inform them. Also they could've picked a better choice as to the person playing Aaliyah. If Aaliyah brother can finish "Queen of the Dammed" for his sister then why can't he play her or have another girl that's resembles her do so. I've been a Aaliyah fan since I can remember and this is a movie I would love to see I just hope y'all get everything situated and not go behind her family back like that.

I don't think this is a good idea. I don't like it at all. No one could ever take Aaliyah's place, and I feel like they will lie about everything in the movie, and Zendaya doesent fit the role. At all. This really angers me!
