Did anyone hear that Wendy Williams is producing this movie and from what she stated the movie will show aaliyah's personal relationships with r.Kelly and Damon dash , from what I gathered it going to be like a tell all type of thing .

Im a 90's baby and most of my life all ive ever listened to was aaliyahs music.. as inately not when the actors they much as I would love to see a movie made about aaliyah, but not under these circumstances. Her family deserves to be apart of this production.. how the hell can you make a movie about someone you dont know and have never met without the people that know theem best.. seriously.. and from what im hearing, missy, and tim are completely against this as well and lastly, the cast sucks.. the people that they are casting dont even come close to resembling any of the people in real life. the closest they got to finding someone who resembles aaliyah herself was Zendaya and she dropped out for the exact reason that this petition was made.. She didnt want to be apart of her inspirations biopic without the blessing of her family.

I love Aaliyah so much I'm 18 year old n sadness I was born n the mid 90 but just being four year old I remember hear her n I knew the true mean of music until this day I still Listen to her I love her so much that I can't listen to no girl singer ima always listen to her on my IPod it all alliyah song Nobody else I look up to her n it bring tear to my eyes to know that makeing a move with out her parent Permission it cold n Its hard yes I will love to c her move but not like this Wendy William got to be sham of her self this is real life stuff that the mom that gave birth to her that the brother that grow up with her SMH:( I did have respect for u Wendy but now I don't God bless yo soul cause n my heart u doing This do hear the drama u said it yo self but like the old saying wat goes around come back Around :-) rip baby girl

This is all about money & greed!!Showtime & co. really DON'T CARE except for all the money they stand to make.If we're(her fans)ARE NOT COMFORTABLE with Showtime's decision to move forward with this,then that should seriously tell them something.Either tell Aaliyah's story RIGHT OR NOT AT ALL!!Telling her story DOESN'T mean that you put Aaliyah,or her family's feelings,under the bus just so greedy filmmakers can make a quick buck!! & NOT A DIME of it will go to her family or estate.The bottom line is this,if the Haughton's don't give their OFFICIAL support,involvement,or blessing on THIS or ANY other future biopic project,then there's no point going forward with it.If they say NO,then respect their wishes & move on.IF NOT,then you DISRESPECT Aaliyah,her family,& her fans.On another note,if Showtime,VH1 or anybody else can't hire an actress who will do her justice(Zendaya Coleman just doesn't capture her spirit or likeness,at least not to me.),then do us all a favor & just DON'T!! I loved and admired Aaliyah while growing up. Aaliyah was very private about her life; she wanted to keep what was deemed dear to herself. She even stated so during an interview. I find it tasteless and very disrespectful to her as an musical artist, individual, to her loving family, friends and those who supported her. To add insult to the injury, they made the most vicious gossiper of all time who has no morale whatsoever, the executive producer. This whole ordeal is sick and messy. Indeed, money is the root of all evil. Those who believe in the Truth, please pray and intercede for her family.

The world would love to see a bio pic of Aaliyah but not against her family's wishes. And to have Wendy Williams help produce it, when she is known for being careless to celebrities feelings, is wrong on so many levels.

If her family is against this film, people should at least have the morals to respect that. Aaliyah deserves more than a lifetime movie with amature actors/actresses and people who do not have experience in movie producing (Wendy Williams).
