This is action being made by lifetime is very hurtful. This movie shall not be made. Let Aaliyah rest in peace. This film does not benefit her fans, family or estate. The main purpose of it is for lifetime to profit from her success. My friends, family and I will no longer watch lifetime. They have gone too far and this will be stopped.

As an HUGE Aaliyah fan, it hurts to see such a beautiful life gone soon to begin with. Then to see a movie to hurry up and be made with a person who doesn't fit the role isn't fair. We waited too long for a movie to be made and if we have to wait longer for it to be done right then let it be done. To her family and loved ones, it is total disrespect to do something behind their backs and whatever consequence that comes out of it is deserved because it's not right.

I do not like the choice they made wjen selecting the lead for this movie. It is also disrespectful to the Haughton family not to have a hand in this progect. Its also a dishonor to the late Aaliyah to totally disregard her fans input and her family's strong dissapproval to continue with the production of the film.

the family should be the ones that decided who plays the lead and should be involved from the beginning to the end of the film..Lifetime is wrong on so many levels and for them not to contact the family is distasteful, inconsiderate and just unprofessional. I feel that this production should not be aired and I am in support of the family and their persuant of blocking production to proceed.

if I was Zendaya & I was up for this role , KNOWING her mom nor her brother doesn't consent to a biopic of her , I wouldn't do it . especially if she's a TRUE fan like she claims she is . no matter how much money I would make from it or how far it would advance my career or how much of an honor it would be to portray her , I wouldn't do it out of thee respect & thee love that I had for Aaliyah & her family . POINT BLANK PERIOD . this movie will be SHIT without thee support from her family .
