I love aaliyah! I miss just like everyone else...especially her family. I grew up listening to her! she was an amazing entertainer as well as an amazingly beautiful woman. I dont think its right for lifetime to try and make a movie about her with out the consent of the family. let her rest in piece. on another note...if your gonna have someone protray aaliyah in a movie...make sure she looks EXACTLY like her....dont be disrespectful and someone that looks nothing like her...really????

I would love to see am Aaliyah movie BUT before a movie is to be made a big DEF of asking the family permission first, especially her mother! Not cool! I still miss Aaliyah :(

How can you get the true persona and life story of Aaliyah without including her family in the making. A movie about Aaliyahs life should be made but wolith proper procedures. Having something.assmall as Lifetime trying to direct the movie is disrespectful for such a HUGE upcoming songstress. Let Aaliyah RIP

It's not right to do anything like this without the consent and permission of the family and love ones.... Although I would love to see a movie about the late great beauty its just wrong.... And besides I feel as if Zendayia wouldn't be the best person castes for that part.... Now there's a young lady I saw on instagram (@lolitaprice) that should be given a chance hands down for that role if everything goes well ... But let the family decide what should happen!!!

When you create a movie about famous celebrities you should make sure that the person playing that celebrities role looks just like her. Hell you can always teach a person how to act. They made sure all the girl that played TLC look just like the original group. So why is it that the late Aaliyah can't get the same. Where is that petition so I can sign it. If they don't replace Aaliyah's actor I'm not watching the movie at all and hell the only reason I watch lifetime is when they have "Black" showings which we rarely get. So enough said get Lolita and teach her whatever it is that she needs to do in playing that Aaliyah role. Thy not gone mess this film up where is the petition?
