Do not raise or incorporate new tols on I-94, I-294 or any other tollway for the purpose of financing the Route 53 extension. the Extemions will be devastating to public lands and vital wetlands as well as increase pollution related health problems for people in the area.. The extension will put a large burden on taxpayers. Do not approve the extension.

This road will not solve any of the current traffic problems and will only cause financial hardships instead. Major highways are NOT the answer.

I do not support any type of tollway, roadway or bypass of RT-53 north of Lake Cook Road, or of RT-120 in Grayslake, IL. This state is drowning in debt, turning it's back on business development and is so full of corruption that, should the taxes be raised, the taking away of private land happen, and the destruction of sensative eco-systems occur, no one but connected politicians and developers would win. Everyone else would most definitely be on the losing end of this proposed debacle.

I find it inexplicable that the people of Lake county keep raising their voices to protest the Route 53 expansion and that "the powers that be" wait a couple of months, then bring it back up again. It's not that hard to understand, folks! NO MEANS NO. We don't want this environmental monstrosity in our living rooms! I moved to Lake County to get AWAY from Route 53! Let it go!

We must stop road and city sprawl that requires more car trips,more pollution/sickness and greenhouse gases. We need to focus on rebuilding walkable, more human scale cities.

I travel the Wisconsin frequently on I-94 & the tolls now are crazy! Plus, IL taxes are insane...they have enough money issues, let alone trying to tax people more...
