Completely against this appropriation of funds for tollway expansion, when our state is insolvent and cannot even afford its current fiscal obligations

it is not needed. too much money. There are things I would be willing to raise my taxes for. This isn't one of them. Environmentally stupid.

I think we've paid enough for Route 53 already. Stop spending our good money after bad. Enough is enough.

This highway will be too expensive for people to use and pay

Because this road has been around for more than 50 years, please do not be lulled into thinking this can't happen. There are powerful forces who want this to be built at any cost.

Let me know how I can help educate residents. People aren't aware of the TIF impact on the schools, libraries or the fact that some communities are being called upon to pay for the project while those who will benefit most are not being asked to pay. The "economic development" component is what many of us moved here to avoid... is the Rand Road sprawl not enough. Lastly, the environmental impact is completely unacceptable. How about considering the vote of those who will be impacted most instead of that of those who will only see financial gain?

We don't need more roads. We can't even maintain the ones we have!
