STOP THE ROUNDABOUT
This petition is to stop the roundabout at highway 20 (sharpe's corner)
We feel that the 2 lane turn lane with a light to Oak Harbor is a much better option. We want people to understand that all traffic coming out of Anacortes has to yeild to all traffic going to Oak Harbor before entering the roundabout, which we feel is going to cause a severe back up to Anacortes. Most people are not comfortable using roundabouts especially one this big with as much traffic that will be going through it.
The state said there was overwhelming support for the roundabout. We would like to show them there is not.

Ppl in Washington can barely drive in a single lane roundabout,this double lane roundabout is going to be so confusing not only for the ppl that have to use it daily but tourists as well.

Roundabouts are great, but not for major intersections!
A roundabout is the worst solution to keep traffic moving through this section of Highway 20. Anacortes residents and visitors will feel all of the pain! Why do we need to make such a sacrifice, when there are better solutions?

The DOT needs to do a complete economic impact study of the 20 business that will lose over 50% of their revenue and dozens if jobs lost, due to the roundabout and the divider wall they propose that limits access..
