The Doe is more concerned about completing the curriculum... The lives of our future generation is at stake here.... The academic yr is lost already... Teachers cannot cram concepts into the minds of children because of deadlines.....safety 1st.... Prior Covid 19 thats all we heard... Childrens safety must come 1st, is it in the best interest of the learner? ... My God it was drilled into us those very questions .. And here we r instructed to march our kids to the front of the firing squad.

40+ kids in a class in government schools are disastrous, I would rather my kids loose a year of school than loose their lives! Adults are failing to wear masks and wash hands and social distance themselves how are we expecting our kids to do that. I'm a nurse and wearing a mask for 12 hours a day is no joke, you suffer with headaches, I cant see any productive learning happening when kids are going to be suffering. Rather use the whole schools classrooms to spread out matric students for learning but our babies in primary schools need to stay home.

I fear losing my child to Corona virus. I'm a single mom she is my life. I hope government takes into consideration that kids r innocent if adults are suffering and dying imagine a child. The pain the fear. Come on common sense will show u that it's not the right time for school to open.

First open parliament, and provincial legislature .Based on their safety precautions and infection stats ,I will consider if it's safe to send my child to school. Let people making these decisions lead by example .

Parliament's closed yet they are educated adults and know whats right from wrong. Our kids especially primary are still young and even if you tell them don't touch something they will go ahead and do it because of their curious nature. We can't take a risk like that.

If Parliment doesn't want to open due to adults worried what will happen to them because of the virus, what for our kid's. especially primary school they don't know better.

NOT SENDING KIDS BACK AS YET. IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR KIDS TO KEEP THEM IN WITHOUT MUCH SUPERVISION.

Schools should not reopen until there's no trace of this virus at all. It's dumb to be banning cigarettes but letting kids go back to school when this is the real threat. Rather they miss a year of their life than lose their life. Either way opening or not opening my kid is safer at home and will not attend school until it's safe again.

Schools should remain closed. Only open. When there is a vaccine for the virus

If it's not safe fro us to be at work how the kids will be safe each child comes from a different home. We have 40 kids in each class my son is 7 years n won't remember each n every time he touch a pencil or a child to sanitize his hands I won't loose my son fro one yr education I rather let him repeat a grade.
