If we want to reforest bc ,we will . It's not up to other countries to decide this for us. People need to eat ,not just breathe.

those wanting carbon credits should be forced to work with our forest companies and not buying up cheap , prime farmland from BC and destroying it with trees . also only residents of BC should be able to buy large chunks of farmland , not foreign entities

Keep BC's farmland as just that: farmland. Don't sell to the best bidder! If you want trees planted, then have them planted on logged areas.

This is wrong to sell good farm land to anyone that isn't a citizen of Bc Or big company's for planting trees to get carbon credits, plus you can't touch the trees for 100 years I read?? Ashamed of my government for not looking out for our land, probably paid off to the highest bidder!!

absolutly ridiculous that this is being allowed . Let them reforest the recently logged area . He'll let them do it for free with out having to purchase the land . Allowing them to buy our farm land only makes their job easier and takes away perfectly good farm land.
Doesn't take much to understand but sometimes it takes ell ya got.

Please stop this. The BC needs farm land to sustain food production. Whether is for live stock, feed or produce. We need it to provide food the our population.
