Absolute waste of money. Cycle lanes are scarcely used by cyclists. Yet we had roads peppered with potholes, that drivers contribute to their upkeep through tax.

Leave our green spaces alone there’s enough road for everyone and cyclists don’t pay road tax - sort out the pot holes they’re turning into sink holes

We need infrastructure for the many, not spending a fortune inconveniencing the entire street and drivers by creating more traffic for no long term gain. Leave the trees and the grass alone

Just doing that section of road is a waste. It's a cycle lane to know where. When you come up with a joined up scheme then bring it forward. But cutting down all those mature trees is just ridiculous.
