The HSE is planning to strip away our life-saving care while we sleep. We need to hit 250 signatures immediately to show them that we are not going to let them dismantle our hospital in the dark.

The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that the HSE cannot simply ignore the people who rely on Bantry General. They think they can strip away our life-saving services in the dead of night without a fight. This surge of support shows them that we are watching and we are ready to block these dangerous cuts.

The HSE thinks they can strip our community of life-saving care while we watch in silence. We are nearly at one hundred signatures so get this link to everyone you know before the bureaucrats finalize this disaster.

Bantry A&E provides an essential service for the people and visitors to West Cork. Lives will be lost if the nearest hospital open is in Cork. We have friends and relatives whose lives and emergency conditions have been saved by having Bantry A&E. It is invaluable to all three peninsulas. Lives have to take priority before money.
MY SON NEEDED Bantry A&E last year for a bad accident. If he had to go to cork he wouldnt be here today. Leave it open!
This is madness. The roads down here are bad enough without adding an extra hour to get to Cork in an emergency. People will die on the road.
Keep our services local. We pay our taxes like everyone else and deserve the same level of care. 8pm to 8am is when bad stuff happens too.
Living on the peninsula means Bantry is our only hope. Total disgrace to even suggest closing it.
