We have a great system! I don't honestly believe they will provide the same services at a lower cost.....will they cut full time positions, programs, shut down branches? MS already ranks at the bottom educationally. Why do we continuously feel the need to take away more opportunities to learn?

We need to make sure that our library is not privatized. Efforts to privatize MS state agencies has failed in the past. A private company was going to save the state money by privatizing child support. It was a disaster.

For the savings of 200k per year, cost saving measures could be found and the Library will reain a cornerstone of the County. This decision may be penny wise but pound foolish!

Our library is just the best as is. NO to Privatize to some greedy outsource company. It should never have been considered in the first place. The library and employees are family.

A library should be public, not private . Community and staff shouldn't have to go through this just because the city of Bay St. Louis doesn't know how to budget .

Our library system provides so many valuable services. I cannot imagine that privatization will bring anything good to our system. We must save our library from privatization!

I am regular user of the libraries in my county. DO NOT-- I repeat DO NOT privatize our library system. It's not broken, so don't try to fix it! Please reconsider your decision to do this! Our county doesn't have much, but we do have GREAT lbraries.
