I have been playing on the Naeu server for several years, and the ping situation keeps getting worse and worse. I play from Europe, yet somehow, in almost 70% of cases, I end up seeing players from Asia and America. And it would be fine if the servers could handle such a load — but they can’t. Players from Europe are forced to endure absurd ping values in almost every single match. No matter how skilled you are, how fast your internet is, or how much experience you have in the game, a random player from Asia or America playing as a hunter will automatically have an advantage over you. Because of this, ranked matches are practically closed off to European players. If the entire team consists of survivors from Europe, somehow an Asian hunter will still join them. A stable green ping is something close to science fiction here, and when players hear about it, they just laugh at the absurdity. Ping values of 150, 250, even 320 have become the “standard” that everyone is forced to accept. And the question is — where does the donation money from people living here actually go? To optimizing the servers in Asia and America? For this reason, many players, instead of buying a beautiful and expensive skin for their main character (whom they cannot even properly play due to ping issues), prefer to spend their money on Dead by Daylight instead. All of Europe continues to live in hope that one day, on their own devices, they will finally see those wonderful two-digit ping values below 99, glowing in a pleasant green color

I have struggled both with unfairness of the ping difference and having to explain to Americans why the ping gives them advantage, often being dissmissed as just get better internet as if that would help, I have played the game for over 5 years at this point and my loyalty Has been crumbling, time and time again having to face unfairness in the game

MAKE THE PING BETTER

Would hope at least make it equal, if there's more Europe players in the match, prioritise their servers vice versa.

As an eu player, my ping is alright but as soon as its with players from other regions it automatically skyrockets and it makes me unmotivated to play. I genuinely adore this game so I hope the ping issues get sorted
