We need to stop breweries destroying village life by closing all the pubs. They need to sell as a freehold so the village spirit can be retained

look how long "The Coot" has been left undeveloped and has become an eyesore. It certainly needs to be offered to a prospective landlord without a ludicrous rent which would guarantee failure.

Absolutley heart broken at the sheer idea of loosing this pub. It's the heart and soul of Urswick and keeps the community solid.
