STOP THE PAINTING OVER OF OUR PAINTED "MOVING UP" BLOCKS!!!

Too much history to be covered up. one of the truly special things about a special place.

Class of 2008. I still remember doing my block and it would be such a shame to erase the history of the alumni like me.

Please don't paint over them! I have tons of family that has painted their blocks and they make our school so unique.

My husband and I both went to Silver Creek and were able to paint these blocks. It's a great tradition that we've seen our kids be able to do also.

Please don't paint over our history!

The blocks are more than just paintings on the wall. It's what each individual student dug deep into their hearts to create. Leaving what truly mattered to each one is essential. Let the future students see a piece of each one before them.

Keep our blocks. That's our mark of history in this small town school. I remembered waiting years to finally get to paint mine, I'm sure a lot of future generations would love to paint theirs to! What is their reasoning for wanting to cover them anyway?

I love going back to visit and looking for my block. It's funny the things you take for granted. I hope they choose to leave them up. I'd love to show it to my kids someday.
