STOP THE PAINTING OVER OF OUR PAINTED "MOVING UP" BLOCKS!!!

I was never a student at SCCS but during one of my son's baseball practices last month, my Mom and I enjoyed a nice walk around all of the halls of the school and we loved looking at every painted block. It's a part of history and would surely be a mistake to paint over them.

I painted one of those block and look at many of them from the past that are on those walls its tradition something we need to keep going

Keep history alive! Traditions like these are what fosters community engagement, and shows reverence for those who have passed on. Without unique cultural records like these painted blocks, SCCS loses its charm and becomes any generic high school.

Please don't paint over the blocks we worked hard to make. Weeks of preparation were out into those for some. Atleast Always take the blocks out and present them somewhere within the school where alumni can be honored.j

Class of 2000 and I still remember how exciting it was to finally be able to paint a block! It's like our own little time capsule! Please don't cover over our history!

Even though I was definitely not an artist and it's hard to read mine there are a lot of great paintings and I always show my kids where daddy's and mommys painting is! So let's leave it be, it is like going to see my parents and older friends graduating class picture it's a tradition leave it alone!!! Please!!

Please leave the memories. These bricks are a huge part of our schools history. Painting over them would take away this amazing tradition.
