STOP THE PAINTING OVER OF OUR PAINTED "MOVING UP" BLOCKS!!!

I was the class of 00 and this was something we ALL looked forward to doing! You want the alumni to be proud of where we came from and hold memories from school years but painting over "ugly" blocks tells us you aren't proud of those who have passed through those halls!!!

Those are our works of art. Stop painting over them.

There's no reason to paint over our history. ... running out of space - there's more bricks and after that there's ceiling tiles.

Part of our blocks were removed with the pool addition, please keep the ones that are there now.

There is plenty of room for the next generations to put their own mark on where the grow up going. It's like painting over memories!! Don't do it!!

Don't paint over please it's history of us students

We painted those blocks for them to be a part of the school, some of us are showing our children and grandchildren. So something with the entry ways into the school, that is what is needed most.

Please don't do that I'd love to show my daughter that in the future!!!

Leave the blocks alone

My sisters boyfriend of almost 6 years died in a terrible car crash in Silver Creek a few years ago. My now 10yr old son admired and loved him. He held my boy the day he was born. My son always called him uncle J. It tore my son up when he passed away . There is no tomb stone to visit. The only thing my son has is the block of the rocketship J drew.

Please keep them!! They give the school character!

Those blocks are sacred ground, we look back and reflect to our children of the time we were once their age. For those on the BOE who do not know the history of importance of them, ask any alumni. It goes back to the early 80s.

I was one of the people who painted on those bricks and would hate to see it painted over!!!

This is history. I love showing my kids all the blocks. Don't do it.
