STOP THE PAINTING OVER OF OUR PAINTED "MOVING UP" BLOCKS!!!

I don't care if my block isn't the best it's still a memory I'd like to have when I graduate and maybe someday show my kids don't do this

Why would you even consider painting the blocks? It's our history for all to enjoy.

They show how much people loved the school!! I love looking at them when I am down that way

The tradition was started over 30 years ago and it is the history of Silver Creek through the eyes of a 6th grader.

My son is in pre-k, every time he walks by those painted blocks he talked about how cool they are and how he wants to do that someday. Please don't paint over the blocks, they are interesting to look at. If you're going to paint over them you might as well take down all the alumni class pictures that line the walks also.

This is nonsense, all the memories in those hall ways are held close to those who put them their. Please don't take those away from us.

Please don't paint over our history! We all spent of lot of time planning on what we wanted and now u wanna take this from us =( I'd like to show my daughter some day!!!! Class of 2005

I didn't get to make a block painting because I moved here in 7th grade but I would do anything to have one because they have a meaning to everyone that made one

This is such a lovely tradition that clearly carries a lot of meaning for current students, alumni, and their families and friends. It adds character to the school, helps make it our own. Here's your community engagement. The painted blocks are part of the community's history, connecting past generations with future ones. Such a harmless and fun tradition. Why erase that? For what purpose? Do not paint over blocks. Preserve them!

Would you erase the old anticent Egyptian artifacts? Or wash away what the mayans wrote on the walls of their temple? ... I hope you take into consideration of the life of that school. Each block represents each one of us that painted the wall. And with each upcoming generations, it wouldn't just tell our, as an individual alumni, but the school as a whole. Inspiration is key to all success. Why not start painting in the elementary court yard?

I loved looking at these when I was in kindergarten-4th grade and loved finding them after I made them. It's history why erase it?
