The blocks are a tradition our school has been doing for years. So many people have memories here, and the blocks are an important part. It's not right to strip someone of a legacy or tradition. My sister is not going to get to paint a block now, and it is going to crush her when she can't. Stop ruining the school. Thank you

I am currently a student at silver Creek middle school and I think it is not right that the blocks that show our creativity and our differences will be removed. it is part of our legacy and history at the school and it has been a tradition for so many years.

I never went to SC school, however my children did and their "moving up block" was very special. Your crazy to take away history.

Please do not paint over the blocks!! Every year at the end of school we make a point to walk around & see all the blocks especially those painted by my daughter, my sons, my brother & sister! It's a part of school history!! Don't ruin it!!

Leave it be. In fact, use the money to put a coat of sealant over them.

I can't believe they are trying to paint over these ! Every time I visit the school since graduation I go look at my block I painted. I would be so upset to see them all painted over .

The kids really enjoy painting those blocks! It was a big part of their moving up day!!!!

Silver Creek is an example of the innocence and joy of growing up in a small town. I tell others about my upbringing and they are in awe of the closeness we all shared. Leave that legacy and leave that pride. You possess something most places can't and that's community.
