As parent and grandma the moving up blocks is something that I can show my family and I can still remember the special day that I painted my block it was the step that I went from child to teen

PLEASE DO NOT PAINT OVER THE BLOCKS! I graduated from SCCS as did my three children....painting over the blocks would be "desecrating" our education at the school erasing history of those having graduating from SCCS, too. Really!! those painted blocks are part of the heritage of the school!!!

I love when my kids get to go to middle school and I can show them the block I made it’s special my 2nd daughter is only 3 if it’s gone before I get to show her I’ll be disappointed and its us leaving our mark on the school don’t paint over them! It makes our kids happy to know and show their friends look my mom and dad went to this school too and they painted these blocks and I’ll get to too!

Please leave the blocks the students love looking at them and so do the parents. It's a tradition that goes back over 30 years. The students look forward to painting them.

I helped those students paint their blocks when i worked at the school years ago and I feel they should be saved. I don't understand why anyone would want to paint over the blocks. That is a special mark of the students. SAVE THE BLOCKS. PLEASE.

Shame on the administration for even proposing this idea. Both my children and all of my nieces and nephews have painted blocks. This is part of Black Knight history. It is quite obvious those that proposed this insane idea are not born and raised in this community or they would have never suggested this in the first place!
