New Hartley is a village not part of an urban sprawl and all efforts should be made to keep it that way. Such a shame if this was to happen.

Lied to by barratts who stated new hartley 1st school were all in favour of development. Worry about the impact of traffic, strain on the drainage system and wildlife impact. Not to mention the lack of suitable amenities in new Hartley already. Go build somewhere else and leave our village alone.

The village of New Hartley does not have the capacity or infrastructure to cope with an additional 286 houses. We have seen 3 significant developments within a mile of this proposed development already and the houses on these developments are not sellling. There is ample "previously developed land" and brownfield sites to meet Northumberland's housing stock requirement, yet once again it appears the developers and council are looking for the easiest option for meeting the targets. Building on greenfield land when there is ample PDL/Brownfield sites is contrary to NCC's planning policies and should not be allowed to happen again as it did at Wheatfields in Seaton Delaval.

Is there really a need for yet more houses in this area. Huge estates are currently being built in Blyth (many remaining unsold). Wheatridge in Seaton Delaval now has a fairly large estate with petrol station and supermarket. Interest rates about to rise so possibility of houses going unsold. It is a sickening to think that greenfield sites are being sold to developers left right and centre with no regard to the opinions of the public.

If this development goes ahead it will have a devastating impact on the local wildlife and a negative effect on the local community due to increased traffic, noise, light pollution etc. disgusting.

NO MORE HOUSES leave the VILLAGES as just that villages ! re-develop the shitty slums and leave what little country side we have left and allow people to enjoy thier hobbies in peace
