As a mother of a 4 year old, I'm very concerned about the school situation, ie it not being big enough to cope with extra children. Also concerned about the volume of traffic and the pollution that will bring and noise but most of all with increased traffic - our roads will become very unsafe for all of the children in our village. I'd like to become involved in meetings etc - how do I do this please? Jenni - Dorchester Court.

There's already 3 developments in progress around Seaton Delaval and New Hartley causing traffic and spoiling our village and it's surroundings

I wholeheartedly object to the proposed building of 286 houses in our lovely village.

This is a total overdevelopment. This is not in keeping with our Village way of life.

This development will overcrowd and ruin the village and put a strain on its resources.

It is a ridiculous proposal which will ruin the lives of those now living in this lovely little village. It does not have the infrastructure to support any further housing.

recentcomments about widening the road to st michaels ave will not help the traffis and road safety issues. do the council have so little regard for our safety.

New Hartley does not possess the infrastructure to accommodate a development of this magnitude. It will bring nothing to the village, apart from increased traffic and pollution to the vibrant Eco system of the area.

The development is too big for the area. Transport, schools & other vital services cannot support that many houses.

Ridiculously oversized development, disaster waiting to happen without massively improved infrastructure!
