We moved to Oconee for the charming community, excellent school system and small town feel. It saddens us that within months we’ve witnessed so much development. Another car wash?? Development for the sake of development will change this beautiful county into something that can’t be undone. Love the idea of residents donating and protecting the green space! But why aren’t our elected officials representing the majority of our residents?

The negatives aspects of this proposed development to the quality of life for residents in Oconee Crossing out weigh the positive economic impact to the greater community. Therefore adding pressure to devalue property values in Oconee Crossing.

The county does not have the infrastructure to support all this growth so fast. Slow down, control growth, and expand with common sense. Let’s not end up like Gwinnett Co.

In addition, losing the tree line buffer that currently exists between us and 78 will naturally increase traffic noise throughout our neighborhood. Also, the project is to be developed in phases where partially developed phases with be an eyesore and also just lead to continued construction traffic and noise well beyond 2 years as these areas are developed.

I grew up in Gwinnett County and watched continued developments destroy it. Really don't want to see this happen to Oconee county.

Please consider all planned development on 78 to avoid duplication of services and increased traffic and loss of natural areas along this corridor. If development of any kind is approved adjacent to Oconee Crossing, please scale it WAY down.

We left Gwinnett to get away from traffic, noise, congestion and overbuilding. Please keep Oconee a charming place to live and deny this proposal!

We seriously don’t need more congestion - vehicles and pedestrians- in this section of our wonderful county.
