Please consider this very carefully, most residents in Oconee County are not wanting this type of growth. While the landowner has rights and can't be completely denied to build it does not have to be this massive.

Say goodbye Oconee, hello Gwinnett if this goes up. There are already several other developments going up two miles down 78 behind AJ’s and Racetrac. Let’s see how those go first before we overdevelop. We also have to keep in mind that we might be headed for a recession. I don’t want 78 in Oconee to look like Snellville!

We live on Sims Road about two miles from the proposed development. We strongly urge our commissioners not to approve this rezone. We do not need two grocery store/details developments within half a mile.

I have lived in Oconee my entire short 33 years and I’m so tired of seeing more buildings, when half of them in our county are empty already, and the fast food places we do have can’t even keep staff, building more is not what we need!

Enough! We have new projects proposing more traffic, congestion and headache coming from every direction in this area of the county. We don’t need all of that growth. Fill up the Plaza Parkway are off Oconee Connector first

Please deny this. We have had enough growth in Oconee County. I live on Clotfelter and this will impact the traffic down our road. Leave Oconee the way it was. Thank you

I’m a home owner in Oconee Crossing. Born and raised here going on 27 years. I commute daily to Lawrencville GA for work. I come home everyday to Oconee not just because its where i know to live it’s because its a small slice of heaven we all have surrounded by the greed of corporate America. Please stop over developing our slice of heaven.

I’ve always had worries of the quaint Watkinsville I grew up in and love dearly being turned into a mini Gwinnett or something similar to that. The small town country feel has been dying out for the past 25 years. Little mom and pop shops being torn down to make way for the town center (which I’m still not a huge fan of), roads being widened to make traffic better without considering the horrible oversight that is downtown. Downtown can’t widen. It’s two roads. People live there. How in the world are they supposed to not lose their minds simply trying to run errands or get home from work because of the traffic? Our town is small and homey, and with all of the changes that have been made in the recent years, I worry that the things that make Watkinsville special will fade into memory. The people who live here and have lived here love it for what it is; not for what it could become. Also, one Publix is enough. We have enough gas stations. Stop widening roads. And maybe take care of the people who live in town, who drive down the roads daily, who pay TAXES first. I have plenty of things I’d like to say to the people in charge about some streets that have been neglected for YEARS. Take care of those first before taking our town and turning it into a crime ridden heap of garbage. Very disappointed in the people involved in the approval of these situations. Leave Watkinsville alone. Please and thank you!
